Generator rentals for Pensacola and Panhandle rebuilds
Most of the Panhandle has power back after Hurricane Isaias, but damaged services, rebuilds and job sites still need temporary power. H&L delivers diesel rental generators from 20 kW to 2,500 kW, connects them with licensed electricians, and keeps them fueled until permanent power is in place.
Temporary power while you repair and rebuild
After a hurricane, a rental generator is only useful if it shows up, carries the load, and doesn't leave you chasing fuel. We handle all three.
- Diesel units from 20 kW mobile through 2,500 kW high-capacity
- Delivery, positioning, cable connection and load-tested startup by our crew
- Connection by a Florida-licensed electrical contractor — no unsafe backfeeding
- Daily, weekly and four-week rates with no hidden tier changes
- Fuel plans: route refuels, on-demand top-offs, or your own tank
- One call schedules pickup when utility power is restored

Run it safely
Generator accidents spike after every Florida hurricane. A professionally connected rental avoids the most common dangers.
Before you run any generator
- Never run a generator indoors, in a garage, or near open windows — carbon monoxide kills.
- Never backfeed through a dryer outlet or wall plug. It can energize utility lines and injure line crews.
- Use a transfer switch or a licensed electrician's connection to your panel.
- Keep fuel stored away from the unit and let it cool before refueling.

Pensacola generator rental questions
Does H&L deliver rental generators to Pensacola?
Yes. We deliver rental generators across Florida, including Pensacola, Escambia County, Santa Rosa County and the rest of the Panhandle. Call (813) 638-7930 for current availability and a delivery time.
What size generator do I need?
A typical home with central A/C usually needs a mid-size mobile unit; businesses and larger buildings are sized from their service panel and load. Our fleet runs from 20 kW to 2,500 kW, and we size it with you on the call.
Who connects the generator to my building?
H&L is a Florida-licensed electrical contractor (EC13013552). Our crew positions the unit, connects cable and tests it under load. Generators should never be backfed through a dryer outlet or wall plug.
How does fuel work on a rental?
We offer route refuels, on-demand top-offs, or you can supply your own tank. When power is back, one call schedules pickup.
How long can I rent for?
Daily, weekly and four-week rates are available, so you can keep the unit as long as restoration takes in your area.
